This section describes how Black Hat Developers protects its intellectual property, how our trademarks and brand assets may be used, and the procedures for reporting copyright or trademark infringement.
Trademark Usage Guidelines
Black Hat Developers trademarks include the Black Hat Developers name, logos, product and service names, designs, symbols, trade dress, and slogans. These trademarks distinguish our products and services from those of others.
You may use Black Hat Developers trademarks only in a manner that is truthful, accurate, and non-misleading, and only as expressly permitted by these Terms or with prior written authorization.
Any use of our trademarks must not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with Black Hat Developers where none exists, and must not harm our reputation or brand value.
Brand Asset Rules
Brand assets include logos, icons, illustrations, screenshots, interface designs, typography, color palettes, and other visual or textual elements associated with Black Hat Developers.
Brand assets may be used only for lawful, informational, or editorial purposes. They must not be used in a way that is misleading, deceptive, defamatory, or associated with illegal or harmful activities.
Black Hat Developers reserves the right to revoke permission to use its brand assets at any time if such use violates these Terms or applicable laws.
Logo Usage — Do’s and Don’ts
You may:
- Use the official Black Hat Developers logo without modification.
- Use the logo to accurately reference our products or services.
- Maintain sufficient clear space around the logo.
You may not:
- Alter, recolor, distort, animate, or redesign the logo.
- Combine the logo with other branding elements.
- Use the logo in a misleading or unlawful manner.
Copyright and Trademark Protection
All content provided through the Services, including software, code, text, graphics, logos, images, videos, documents, and layouts, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display any content without prior written permission from Black Hat Developers.
DMCA and Intellectual Property Infringement Procedure
Black Hat Developers respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to valid notices of alleged infringement in accordance with applicable law, including the DMCA.
A valid notice must include sufficient information to identify the copyrighted or trademarked work, the allegedly infringing material, and contact details of the reporting party.
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and may terminate repeat infringers.
